Who's listening?

This weekend me and my sister rented an airBnB while out of town. We were attending a wedding and, like typical, running late. I spoke very harshly with her as I rushed her out of the house. I then noticed there was ring doorbell and felt embarrassed/nervous I was overheard.

I had no idea if it worked or even could record audio, but knowing that somebody could be listening to my conversation with my sister quickly convicted me of my guilt and how I was treating her when we were running late.

This bring into the spotlight integrity. Why does introducting a 3rd-party change the situation? It does not. But it does bring in fresh eyes.
